O2B2 TORONTO EXPERIENCE PART 2

Temptu Airbrush Starter Kit
When I first sign up for O2B2 workshop, I was only thinking of signing up to one of the classes. But I couldn't resist and I signed up for both Pro Bridal and Pro Airbrush class. Knowing me as a big spender and loves to shop, I got to save and set money aside for the workshop which is pretty amazing! So about the Airbrush Workshop, it is my weakness. It's just coz I've never tried airbrush before so I really didn't know what to expect. Same as the other class, we had to do an inventory as well. Opening the package one by one was one of the most exciting parts of the workshop, as I've said in my previous blog it's like unwrapping a Christmas present. I couldn't believe that by signing up in this workshop, I get to have my own airbrush system. I just love it! Then we proceed with the class, Elessa demonstrated to us how to disassemble the airbrush gun so that we could quick and deep clean it whenever we have to. At first, I was so scared because there's alot of tiny parts and it look so complicated at first. She made us disassemble and assemble until we master it. After that we get to do the wrist exercises with Koren. He made us hold our airbrush guns like a pen and made as he calls it "little e's". After that we get to play with the compressor and knowing how it feels to have the airbrush gun with the compressor turned on. Then we get to practice on paper which I must say was the most breathtaking experience. Here are some of the photos. The hardest part of this practice was the circles. It's because you have to practice the distance and aim to fill in with one spray which I find really hard to do. Whenever I see someone do airbrush makeup, I always think that it's soo easy, but I was wrong. You need to have a lot of practice to master airbrushing. Doing it the first time made my hand cramp a little bit coz I am not used to it yet. Then after that Koren worked on their model and demonstrated to us how to prep and prime the face when airbrushing and how much PSI we need in order to have the coverage we want. Then I worked on my model and here's the finished product. Then we had a photoshoot again (pictures will be posted as soon as I get the copies from the alumni website) and we got our certificates!! Yey!

I can't believe that the workshop is officially done knowing that I've been talking about it for months! Koren and Elessa told us that they're also planning to have an O2B2 season 2. Hopefully, it involves special fx classes *fingers crossed*. But whatever workshop it is, I would definitely save and sign up again. :)
